The design and build of custom bunkbeds for a customers cabin in Ellijay. The challenge was designing a structural bridge of two head to head twin beds free spanning over a king bed. This was solved by creating a truss out of the bed rails with mortise and tenon joinery. Materials used were hard maple and white oak accents. The addition of low voltage lighting highlights the white oak features.
